Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Dritta app or related services (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dritta. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that happens under it.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, and to keep it up to date.
• You may sign in using Apple, Google, or email/password — you're responsible for keeping whichever method you use secure.
• You may not share your account or let anyone else access the Service using your credentials.

4. Your content

Dritta lets you create and share recommendations, comments, tags, and lists ("Content"). You own the Content you post. By posting Content, you grant Dritta a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that Content solely to operate and improve the Service — for example, showing your public recommendations to people who follow you, or to people who follow a public list you contribute to.

You're responsible for the Content you post. Don't post anything that:

• Is illegal, fraudulent, or misleading;
• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights;
• Is harassing, hateful, or threatening toward another person;
• Contains malware or is intended to disrupt the Service; or
• Impersonates another person or entity.

We may remove Content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

5. Lists and visibility

When you create a list, you choose whether it's public or private. Public lists — and any recommendation you add to one — are visible to people who follow you. You're responsible for understanding and using these visibility settings correctly; Dritta isn't responsible for content you choose to make public.

6. Third-party places and data

Dritta displays information about real-world places (names, categories, addresses, photos) sourced in part from Google's Places API. This information is provided for convenience and may not always be accurate or up to date — Dritta doesn't guarantee the accuracy of any place information shown in the Service.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to access another user's account without authorization;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated means to access the Service outside its intended use;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure; or
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or at our discretion with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Dritta doesn't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations shown will meet your expectations — recommendations reflect the opinions of the users who posted them, not Dritta.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dritta will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such court.
